Xcommsn open source messenger client

NOTICE : As authentication scheme has changed from passport 1.4 to passport 3.0 Xcommsn will not successfully log in to MSN servers. We are aware of these and is working on it.

Although we haven't released any new version for a long time this project hasn't been completely dead. Entire messenger client  is now been fully re-written in C# and Delphi 8 .net. Currently we are focusing on MSN protocol 11 and a fully working client with documented source code will be available shortly. Although older Delphi code is still available in CVS repository this code is well out of date, and will be replaced with new code shortly.

New version will be a usable client for the general public unlike previous release which was just to demonstrate how msn protocol work and how a programmer can program his/her own messenger. and will include several new features unique to xcommsn through several planned sub-projects, which will be announced as plans for them are finalized.

thank you for visiting http://xcommsn.sourceforge.net and for your interest in xcommsn. please use the forums to give us feedback which we can feed in to the development process to build a better product .
